Having trained at the London School of Audio Engineering I have a solid theoretical background in sound. I also have a practical understanding from a musicians perspective; being involved in music, bands and recording since an early age. I have substantial studio experience, encompassing a diverse array of bands, instruments, genres, settings and objectives. I have worked with an extensive variety of equipment and desks, such as the SSL 4000, the Neve VR Legend, SSL AWS 900, Neve Gemini and many smaller desks such as the Tascam DM32000 and Yamaha 02R. I am very happy to work on projects in the traditional studio environment, but I am particularly keen to be involved in recording jobs in unconventional environments and locations. I have mixed live events using predominantly analogue desks, including Allen and Heath, Soundcraft, Yamaha, and Mackie. With considerable experience of live engineering, from small gigs to large concert halls, you can be sure of a quality result. My studio has the requisite equipment and software for professional audio editing/mixing and post production. Although I principally work with Logic, Pro Tools, and Soundtrack Pro I am also proficient with SADIE and have a working knowledge of Ableton, Cubase and Reason. |
